Title : KDF K'vek Class Battlecruiser Filename : _K_TNG_Kvek.zip Version : 0.95 beta This ship CAN be used in SFC II, SFC: Orion Pirates, and SFC3 ONLY It WILL NOT WORK in SFC 1 or SFC: Neutral Zone Date : 02/06/2002 Author : Original Model & textures by Don Woligroski (A.K.A. - Cleeve) Email : soulwolf@escape.ca Credits : Brad at SFB to SFC for making the SCME utility available to us starship lovers, and whose readme file I used as a template as my own! check them out at http://starfleet.thegamers.net SFC Version Support: SFC1: No Version SFC2: Use "Kvek.mod" SFC3: Use "_K_TNG_Kvek" Description of the Mod File --------------------------- Here is a design I've been working with for a couple weeks. I've always wanted to make a TNG era ship that's a worthy successor to the D-7. I love the Vorcha and Negh'var, but they didn't seem to do their D-7 roots enough justice... so I came up with the D-37 K'vek class battlecruiser. Steps to install ---------------- 1. Make a new directory in your Starfleet Command\Assets\Models\ folder called "_K_TNG_Kvek" 2. Copy the contents of the zip file into the new "Starfleet Command\Assets\Models\_K_TNG_Kvek\" folder. 3. Finally, open the sfbspc.txt file located in the Starfleet Command\Assets\Specs\ folder with Notepad. Better yet, use the shipedit program to edit the SPBSC13.txt file... you can get it here: http://shipedit.starfleetuniverse.com/ From here you have a choice... you can: 1. Replace the model geometry of one of the existing ships (the C8K, C9K and C10K Dreadnoughts are my picks) with the following \Assets\Models\_K_TNG_Kvek\Kvek.mod Or : 2. you can insert the Kvek stats inbetween the existing row entries of the sfbspc.txt file. <> Copyright and Distribution Permissions -------------------------------------- THIS PATCH IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY INTERPLAY TM & (C) INTERPLAY & PARAMOUNT PICTURES.
