Title : TOS era Saber class Klingon Frigate Filename : _K_TOS_Saber.zip Version : 1.0 final This ship can be used in SFC and SFC II Date : 8/9/2000 Model Author : Don Woligroski (A.K.A. - Cleeve) Texture Author : Don Woligroski (A.K.A. - Cleeve) used textures from Pneumonic81's Gull class as a base Email : soulwolf@escape.ca Credits : Brad at SFB to SFC for making the SCME utility available to us starship lovers, and whose readme file I used as a template as my own! *****NOTE***** Use the file Saber-i.mod for SFC II (with illumination maps) Use the file Saber.mod for SFC 1 (with no self illumination) Description of the Mod File --------------------------- The Saber is a FASA ship, in my opinion very true to the roots of klingon design. Simple and elegant, it is yours to fly or fry... :) Steps to install ---------------- 1. Make a new directory in your Starfleet Command\Assets\Models\ folder called "_K_TOS_Saber" 2. Copy the contents of the zip file into the new "Starfleet Command\Assets\Models\_K_TOS_Saber\" folder. 3. Finally, open the sfbspc.txt (or shiplist.txt in sfc II) file located in the Starfleet Command\Assets\Specs\ folder with Notepad. Better yet, use the shipedit program to edit the SPBSC13.txt file... you can get it here: http://shipedit.starfleetuniverse.com/ From here you have a choice... you can: 1. Replace the model geometry of one of the existing ships with the following \Assets\Models\_K_TOS_Saber\Saber-i.mod (Saber.mod in SFC 1) Or : 2. you can insert the Saber stats inbetween the existing row entries of the sfbspc.txt (or shiplist.txt in sfc II) file. <> Copyright and Distribution Permissions -------------------------------------- THIS PATCH IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY INTERPLAY TM & (C) INTERPLAY & PARAMOUNT PICTURES.
