Princeton Filename : Niagra.zip Version : 1.1 FINAL This ship can be used in SFC and SFC II Date : 2/9/2001 Author : Don Woligroski (A.K.A. - Cleeve) *** NOTE *** the author of 95% of the model pieces and textures in this mod were created by Pneumonic81. All I have done is rearrange them into these ships and make small modifications here and there. *****NOTE ALSO***** Use the file Niagara.mod for SFC Use the file Niagara-i.mod for SFC II (with illumination maps) website : www.STARYARDS.com Credits : Brad at SFB to SFC for making the SCME utility available to us starship lovers, and whose readme file I used as a template as my own! Check them out at http://starfleet.thegamers.net Description of the Mod File --------------------------- The Niagra, Challenger, and Freedom classes are ships, although officially shown on Star Trek: The Next Generation, are rarely heard of. They were floating in the battle wreckage of Wolf 359 after the Borg cube had attacked. None of these ships got the close-ups they deserved, but now you can look at 'em all you want in SFC II! Steps to install ---------------- 1. Make a new directory in your Starfleet Command\Assets\Models\ folder called "Niagra" 2. Copy the contents of the zip file into the new "Starfleet Command\Assets\Models\Niagra\" folder. 3. Finally, open sfbspc.txt (or shiplist.txt in sfc II) located in the Starfleet Command\Assets\Specs\ folder with Notepad. a. From here you have two choices you can: 1. Replace the model geometry of one of the existing ships with the following \Assets\Models\Niagra\Niagra-i.mod b. Or : 1. you can insert the Niagra stats inbetween the existing row entries of the shiplist.txt file. <> Copyright and Distribution Permissions -------------------------------------- THIS PATCH IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY INTERPLAY TM & (C) INTERPLAY & PARAMOUNT PICTURES.
